
Hey there! I'm Daryl Bright (and yes, my nickname is Sunshine)
I completed my YTT-200 on May 5th of 2024.
I am a RYT-200 yoga instructor registered
with The Yoga Alliance.
Hard to believe I was rear-ended at 80mph
4 days later, yet here I am today: grateful,
strong, and calm. Being calm and present in the moment made the effects of that impact much less damaging.
Yoga has given me an inner peace I carry with me throughout time. It's a peace that allows one to be gracious, strong, understanding, kind, compassionate, resilient and above all grateful. Navigating trauma, setbacks, major life transitions, and new challenges is hard on all of us. Through yoga and the amazing, thriving community it offers, I have found new purpose, passion and a practice that flows through all life circumstances.
Come join me and fellow yogis as I offer slow flow sessions at pop-up venues and with consistency on Kure Beach Pier, in Kure Beach, NC. Come as you are. All levels welcome!

Why Sunshine Yoga?

It is well worth noting that Sunshine Yoga: Flow and Glow does offer a dedicated studio as well. However it is NOT brick and mortar. It is weathered cedar and glass. It needs new windows, but I built and fountain right outside them. The entrance is through the garden, through the blueberries. I have cats and dogs. The studio is filled with sunlight, plants, baskets, lots good energy and infinite gratitude. A happy fountain babbles outside, to the rhythm of a singing bowl accompanied by the chirping of birds, frogs, crickets on a gentle blowing breeze. Private sessions are possible but extremely limited.
